All ingredient analysis is performed locally in your browser using a bundled ingredient database. The extension reads ingredient text from supported product pages (Sephora, Ulta, Amazon, iHerb, Dermstore, Target) solely to display a safety score. This data is never stored or transmitted.

Data Sources

Product and ingredient data is sourced from Open Beauty Facts (ODbL license) and the EU CosIng database (public domain). Safety assessments reference published scientific research and regulatory decisions.
